Join one of our small group tours of the beautiful and historical Dordogne region of South-West France. In a group of 6-8 people, along with French/English speaking guides, our tours aim to provide travellers with a relaxed, casual and friendly holiday, spending 14 days visiting some of France's most beautiful villages, medieval chateaux, and enjoying the tradition and gastronomy of the region. We will enjoy some of the finest cuisine of the south-west.

The tour includes a French/English speaking guide– Minibus driver– all entrance fees to places listed in the itinerary. The tour is fully inclusive.
Accomodation is at 3-4 star hotels, in Bordeaux then at Le Domaine du Cheyssignaguet in typical Dordogne house that is only for the groups use
Breakfast - Dinner table d'hôte or restaurant / Restaurant lunches or gourmet Picnics - If a full meal has been provided at lunch or dinner, the second meal will usually be a lighter meal (salads etc)

AUBETERRE SUR DRONNE
On the borders of Charente and Périgord, Aubeterre with its entangled roofs and castle clings to a grassy cliff on the banks of the Dronne.The monolithic or rock-hewn underground Church of Saint Jean, the Collegiate Church of Saint Jacques and chapels and convents are evidence of the village’s significant religious past and pilgrims on their way to Saint Jacques de Compostelle used to stop here.
COLLONGE LA ROUGE
Listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, Collonges-la-Rouge is surrounded by lush countryside and freckled with chestnut and walnut trees. Whilst torrents of beautiful flowers invade the unusual red sandstone buildings, 25 towers peek above the village's narrow streets lined with manor houses and artisan boutiques
GROTTE DE LA CAVE
"The synthesis of French caves." N. Castaret. A little electric train takes you deep into the hillside, where you go up in a lift (or by steps) to a big central cavern, from which branch out two major galleries, leading to the various different caverns, 12 in all, with their underground pools and concretions of diverse and eccentric form.
Capital of Périgord and largest city of Périgord Blanc ! Discover the old town and its architectural richness that crosses the centuries. Street leading you to the ancient city and the medieval city were created in order to know all the history and all the secrets of the capital.
GARDENS OF MANOIR D’EYRIGNAC
Set high in the Périgord Noir, very close to Sarlat, come and discover 10 hectares of sculpted plants. A unique example of Topiary Art in France, with new and always more colorful worlds: visit the 7 gardens, and enjoy nature walk on the 200-hectare forestry estate.
CHATEAU DE FENELON
Enrolled in a double enclosure, this lauze-roofed castle draws its powerful silhouette over the Dordogne valley. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful castles in Périgord.Fénelon is one of the few monuments of the Sarladais to keep its roof of slate. You can admire it, and the collection of weapons and armor, the beautiful furniture and objects of art from the XVth to the eighteenth centuries
CHATEAU DE BIRON
Labelled a major Aquitaine site in 2011 this chateau belonged to one of the 4 baronies of the Périgord. Traces of the 12th to 18th centuries in its exceptional Architecture
BASTIDE DE BELVES
Rated one of the most beautiful villages in France, perched on its spur above the valley of the Nauze, in the black Périgord, Belvès is called the medieval city with 7 steeples. Despite the invasions and wars that have punctuated its history, the medieval city has preserved magnificent traces of its heritage.
