Amateurs of fine cuisine and gourmets, this training course is for you! We will initiate you with the techniques of foie gras cuisine. At the end of the training course, you will take with you the foie gras that you will have prepare.

You will arrive the day before in the evening

A supper with hot soup and cold disheswill be served at your arrival. (access plan - click here.)

The first day:

After breakfast, the morning will be devoted to the visit of a traditional breeding of ducks and geese (you will need strong shoes...). Then, we will see together the preparations of fresh foie gras poęlé, which we will taste together with lunch. In the afternoon, we will go back to the furnaces to prepare various recipes of foie gras. The dinner will be the occasion to discover the wines of the region to accompany foie gras...

The second day:

This day is free time. You can spend this day discovering the surroundings : the valley of Vézčre with its numerous archeological sites (among which the famous painted Lascaux caves) and its castles, the medieval city of Sarlat Caneda, etc. (the lunch and the dinner are not included for this day, but we will be able to advise you very good restaurants in the neighbourhood).

Accomodation and breakfast:

You will be accomodated at the Coste Perrier Manoir in the heart of Périgord Noir, 10 mn away from the Lascaux caves and Montignac. All our bedrooms are ensuite with WC, bath or shower. At your disposal are also several living rooms, satellite TV, DVD players, soud systems, high speed Internet access via WIFI, etc.

bullet Single: 390 €

Included: 2 nights at the Marquises of the Coste Perrier Manoir, breakfast, training course, lunch and dinner on the first day, 1 duck foie gras (500-600g) for each person. If you wish to transform more foie gras, you will need to advise us (30 Euros per additional foie gras).

According to availabilities, you can arrive a few days earlier or leave a few days later:
